Start an API integration

Use an API key issued for your own Heth account. First read authentication, amounts and statuses and available business capabilities.

Verify access without moving funds

Set HETH_API_KEY in your integration's secret storage. Do not put it in source control, a browser bundle, a URL or an AI conversation. This request reads account transactions without moving money.

curl --get 'https://app.heth.me/api/v1/transactions' \
--header "x-api-key: $HETH_API_KEY" \
--data-urlencode 'env=prod' \
--data-urlencode 'limit=10' \
--data-urlencode 'order_by=started'

An empty data array is a valid result. For a 401 or 403, check authentication and account permissions.

First payment

  1. Check which payment routes are enabled for your account and obtain the recipient or payment instrument details.
  2. Choose the appropriate transaction example. Replace every placeholder with verified details for your own operation.
  3. Use a small amount. For six-decimal USDT, "1000000" means 1 USDT.
  4. Generate and save a unique txid for the business operation before sending it.
  5. Submit once, save the returned id, then read its status.
  6. If the request times out, look up the original txid or retry the identical request with that same identifier. Do not create a replacement identifier.

Sending a payment request can move real funds. Review the recipient, amount, currency, network and fees before sending. An API key authorizes only the operations available to its account.
