Transfer and withdraw funds
Choose the source first: an internal Wallet balance or a Crypto Account. Then select the recipient, asset and network. Check the amount, recipient and fees on the final review before authorizing the operation.
Transfer types
| Transfer | User action |
|---|---|
| Wallet → Wallet | Enter the recipient identifier or resolve an active @username, then review the transfer |
| Wallet → Crypto Account | Enter the external address and its network; review the withdrawal and fees |
| Crypto Account → Wallet | Select the source account and the destination Wallet; sign the prepared blockchain transaction |
| Crypto Account → Crypto Account | Check the external recipient and sign using the owner wallet |
An internal transfer and a blockchain withdrawal have different processing and fee requirements. Blockchain transfers may need a native gas balance. A purchase of gas is a separate operation; verify the source and the destination account.
External and hardware wallets
For watch-only addresses, use the external wallet connected to that address. The connected account and network must match the source. Supported signing methods depend on the network, browser and device. A transfer opened through a wallet link may not return a transaction hash to Heth: opening another wallet is not proof of payment.
If the result is unclear
Open transaction history and inspect the original operation. Do not repeat the transfer solely because the screen timed out or the network disconnected. Save its identifier and contact support if the status remains unclear. A pending operation must not be described as a completed payment.
